Finally, tonight Natsume Yuujinchou is going to be aired in Japan TvT... I've been waiting for this for so long as I'm actually a fan of Midorikawa Yuki myself and have read the manga way before. It's nice! Really nice! People go watch! I'm sure you all will be touched, especially if you like setsunai stories. I know many people have commented on the similarities between this manga and say Mushishi or Hyakuyakouchou, but then this one is nice in it's own little way ^0^... ho ho ho . Oh, I'm also going to start my Mandarin lessons tonight! I can speak and listen to basic Mandarin but my pronunciation is AWFUL (^_^;;) ... so I enroll in this training to see if I can improve ^0^. Since it'll take 45 minutes to get to the classroom and back, I'm starting on Tanaka Yoshiki's Titania while I'm on the bus: It's written in 1988 so that's 5 years before the EU was established in 1993 so I think this book may have been influenced partially by the concept of the European Union. One thing I don't really like though... that a common language in the future has to be based on an improved version of English ^_^;; I know English is already the current international language but I still hope a future universal anguage (should there be any) is a language countries join together to develop and that take in characteristics from languages from different cultures. I dont know too much about linguistics and I don't know if this is ever plausible, but given the fact that humans share so many similarities in terms of human characteristics, they probably share similar linguistic ability as well. If we build on these similaries and try our best to resolve the differences, probably a universal language is really possible - a "human" language. Anyway, NHK's attempting to animate this novel in October ... I'm a bit skeptical about the success at animating this because the novel is not yet completed (please Tanaka sensei, take this opportunity to finish this book ... AND MY BELOVED ARSRAN SERIES), haha. And when Arsran's finally completed, I hope they will animate that again. Last time, there was only a short OVA and that's not enough for me (>_<)... I want more Darlyun x Narsus and Arsran & Keeve, ho ho ho .

Nico Nico is over \^o^/ The happiest days in my life is now over \^0^/ No more MAD means no more FUN means LIFE'S OVER \^o^/ According to MOVIC's mail magazine, they're selling SASRA boxset for 20,160yen. 20,160yen 20,160yen 20,160yenThat's right after nearly 9,000 yen for Seikanji Papa. Unfortunately since I'm living abroad, I can't get the boxset, which means I have to pay even more for the 8 CDs... I probably will have to wait for the casting but if it's Izumi Katsura and if Seikanji Papa is selling well...then ... then... Kamiyan is probably going to come. If Kaminyan and NojiHiro are casted at the same time, my bank account is REALLY OVER \^o^/ . My only comfort is that BK1 sells MOVIC stuff and so I can order with my books and don't have to suffer the ridiculous shipping costs from Comi Comi Studio or Mangaoh, (TvT)ノ Perhaps it's a sign that I should REALLY START reading the backlog of novels I keep piling up. I'm now reading: A reprint of one of Iwamoto Kaoru's older works. It's extremely interesting, especially if you like Hetare seme x Queen uke. It's like King x Queen in Gakuen Heaven vv. I recently notice that despite the fact that I don't really like Iwamoto sensei, I actually have quite a few of her novels (^_^;;). Aside from the Celebrities series, most of them are so-so but this one is REALLY funny! I so love it, hoho. Today's "technically" the deadline for my project but I'm still not done ... ALL WORK AND NO PLAY THIS WEEKEND \^o^/

Two novels by Tanaka Yoshiki, the genius behind Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (the Legend of the Galaxic Heroes) and Arslan Zenki, are going to be animated, one this summer and the other one I'm not sure. Me and my friend used to read Tanaka Yoshiki in our teens. My friend prefered the Legend of the Galaxic Heroes (then 20 novels) and I ... Arslan Zenki (but it's still incomplete T_T). Both of them were classic and I really loved them. Of course there's also Souryuuden but I didn't read the novel, just watched the OVA. I'm not too interested in the Yakushi Jiryuukou's series. I read the manga but I don't really like it (despite the fact I like mysteries and I adore the mangaka Kakinouchi). Not sure why ... the characters are not interesting and the plot ... hmmm... as for the other one - Titanica, I never heard of it. *O*. It's about the same time as Legend...(late 1980s) but I never noticed this one (probably it's coz it's only got 3 novels). I wonder if it's coz it's never been translated to Chinese. Anyway, from the description, seems like it's great and plenty of slashing (AS USUAL), haha...probably I didn't like Yakushi because there's not much to slash (ahem). I really want to see if I can lay my hands on this series but I doubt it's possible because it's so many years from now T_T.
Anyway, it's always my dream to collect the novels by Tanaka Yoshiki (I probably will only buy the Chinese version as I have no confidence I can read the Japanese version). I'll see if I manage to find them ... ahhh... I'm really looking forward to the anime version of Titania and also the continuation of BOTH Arslan Zenki (she seems to be writing the conclusion ALAS... after a DECADE OF WAITING) and Titania. For those on my f-list (especially those who like slashing), I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TANAKA YOSHIKI's work!!! I wonder if they've been translated to English. Not surprising if they are because she's qutie famous.
